What is Horizon?

Horizon is a greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) forecasting tool that draws on published data covering emissions and offers probabilistic forecasts of scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions of publicly listed companies.

Built in partnership with the University of Exeter’s Global Systems Institution (GSI), this proprietary tool enhances our investment teams’ ability to gauge corporate emissions’ alignment with a low-carbon future, interpret carbon tax impacts, and identify climate engagements.
