Ed joined JOHCM in February 2022 as a Senior Research Analyst. His focus is on companies undergoing business transformation in response to the Climate Transition. He was previously a Research Analyst, with a focus on sustainable and thematic equities, at Newton Investment Management.
Prior to joining the asset management industry, Ed was an academic at the University of Warwick, where his research and teaching centred on the economic history of Europe, network theory, and political economy. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Warwick, where his research into state development was sponsored by the Economic & Social Research Council. Ed holds a master’s degree from the University of Oxford.
